i bet you don't know what country Jerusalem is in...

For a person born in Jerusalem, write JERUSALEM as the place of birth in the passport. Do not write Israel, Jordan or West Bank for a person born within the current municipal borders of Jerusalem.

I posted this photo of Vice President Joe Biden and Shimon Peres, with an accompanying caption that indicated it had been taken last year in Jerusalem, Israel.

Within two hours of posting, the White House has apparently gone through its website, cleansing any reference to Jerusalem as being in Israel.
