Nazi Platform

A reflection on the Nazi Platform and its possible basis of comparison to modern American politics.

The Program of the German Workers’ Party is a program for our time.
The leadership rejects the establishment of new aims after those set out in the Program have been achieved, for the sole purpose of making it possible for the Party to continue to exist as the result of the artificially stimulated dissatisfaction of the masses.
National Socialist German Workers Party Platform American Equivalent Basis
1. We demand the uniting of all Germans within one Greater Germany, on the basis of the right to self-determination of nations. Right Nationalism

3. We demand land and soil (Colonies) to feed our People and settle our excess population. Right Nationalism
4. Only Nationals (Volksgenossen) can be Citizens of the State. Right Citizenship

7. We demand that the State make it its duty to provide opportunities of employment first of all for its own Citizens. Left Government Job Creation
If it is not possible to maintain the entire population of the State, then foreign nationals (non-Citizens) are to be expelled from the Reich. Right Immigration
8. Any further immigration of non-Germans is to be prevented. We demand that all non-Germans who entered Germany after August 2, 1914, be forced to leave the Reich without delay. Right Immigration

10. It must be the first duty of every Citizen to carry out intellectual or physical work. Right Duty to Work

It fights against the Jewish-materialistic spirit within and around us, and is convinced that a permanent revival of our nation can be achieved only from within, on the basis of: Public Interest before Private Interest. Far Left / Far Right Antisemitism

Why "Beto" should have won in a Red State and failed

"Beto O'Rourke came so close to beating Ted Cruz! Which is amazing because Texas is such a Red State™!"

"Beto should run for President in 2020! He had such a great turn-out in Texas, which is such a Red State™!"

These are the kind of things I've been hearing about the coming messiah, Robert Francis 'Beto' O'Rourke. I've heard how close he came to beating Ted Cruz, which shouldn't have been possible in a Red State™ like Texas.

Yes. I'm trademarking "Red State™" when it comes to Texas, because this couldn't be further from the truth. Texas used to be Republican-Red for many years. But demographics have been changing, and not in a natural, organic way. Like much of the rest of the country, the high-density population centers have become more Democrat-Blue. The rest of the country tends to have remained the usual mix of Democrat-Republican that should be normally expected. Sure, rural America has tended toward Republican since the 60's. That's a discussion for another post, but suffice it to say, there are common ideals held between the conservative and self-reliant American farmers and the Republican party.

There may be several reasons for it, but one obvious reason may be one of demographics:
  • Urban areas have greater numbers of poor and low-income families.
  • Urban areas have greater numbers of poorly educated with crumbling school systems.
  • Urban areas have greater numbers of ethnic and racial minorities.

Don't read too much into that last one. Being ethnic / racial minority does not mean you are liberal or conservative. But there are social pressures which do occur in those communities to vote particular ways. Voting for a Republican may be cause to be called a "race-traitor" or worse. In addition, there are consolidated efforts in these areas to provide education and media which tells them they need to vote in their "self-interest" for liberal policies.

So let's look at the state of the State of Texas for a moment. There are thirty-six Congressional districts in the state for the US House of Representatives. Of those 36, twenty-four are held by Republicans. Sounds like a Red State™, doesn't it? In 2018, all 36 districts held a vote. Of these 24 Republican-held districts, 3.6 million voted Republican and 1.6 million voted Democrat. Sounds like a very solid Red State™ with 69% voting Republican.

But there are thirteen Democrat-held districts in Texas. In 2018, those districts voted 2.2 million Democrat to 0.6 million Republican. That's 80% voting Democrat in these districts! Those districts are firmly under Democrat control. For one-third of the districts in Texas, they are very far from being a Red-State™.

What about the State of Texas as a whole? Is it a bonafide Red State™ still?

Combining the votes from both Republican and Democrat districts, there were 4.1 million Republican votes to 3.8 million Democrat votes. That'a 52-48 split in a state that is supposed to be "solidly a Red State™"!

Guess what the vote split was between Cruz and Beto? Cruz had 4.2 million and Beto had 4.0 million. That's a 51-49 split; one-percent better than the state average.

Texas is not a Red State™. And this is only being driven by demographics in urban areas.

Rover for Romney

Voter-registration forms being mailed to Virginia residents are addressed to dead relatives, children, family members in other states, non-U.S. citizens, people with similar names, existing registered voters and residents' cats and dogs.

The errant forms are among tens of thousands being distributed in Virginia by a national voter-registration group that pre-populates the documents with key information, including names and addresses of prospective voters.

The mailings have become a source of confusion among many who receive them and are creating headaches for local registrar offices, which must spend time in a busy presidential election year investigating which of the forms are legitimate.

The mailings also can create opportunities for voter fraud, election officials say.

Although some of the mailings have gone to Virginia residents who are already registered — causing confusion about their voting eligibility — state election officials are more concerned about ineligible people receiving the forms, such as felons, non-citizens and "non-humans," said Justin Riemer, the state Board of Elections' deputy secretary.

Riemer provided these examples:

An application was sent to an 8-month-old child several months after the infant died.
A mother received an application for a daughter who has never lived in Virginia.
A wife received an application for her dead husband.
A non-citizen received an application.
A resident received an application for his mother, who died in 1988 and never lived at the Virginia address where the mailing was sent.
State election officials aren't sure how many of the 5 million registration forms distributed across the country by the Voter Participation Center have made it to Virginia.

Feds Hold Off Approving Texas' Voter ID Bill
by Julian Aguilar, The Texas Tribune - 9/23/2011
The Department of Justice advised the Texas Secretary of State today that its request for preclearance of the contentious voter ID bill lacked enough information for the government to render a decision.
The bill, SB 14, by state Sen. Troy Fraser, R-Horseshoe Bay, would require that voters present a valid state-issued ID before casting a ballot. Gov. Rick Perry deemed the legislation an emergency item during the regular session of the 82nd Texas Legislature. The bill is scheduled to go into effect Jan. 1, 2012.
Section 5 of the federal Voting Rights Act gives the U.S. Department of Justice or the federal courts the authority to review laws that would affect voter participation before they are enacted. Democrats and civil rights groups have argued that the new requirement would adversely affect minority populations and the elderly who do not have immediate access to identification. Republicans championed the measure as a way to stomp out voter fraud in Texas.
In a letter to the state, T. Christian Herren, the chief of DOJ's Voting Section, said Texas submitted its application in July but did not provide adequate information for it to determine if the “proposed changes have neither the purpose nor will have the effect of denying or abridging the right to vote on account of race, color, or membership in a language minority group."
The state must now re-submit the request with the additional information that, among others things, describes the federally mandated voter-education program the state will implement, how election officials will be trained to correctly implement SB 14, and more details about the 605,576 registered voters who do not currently possess a valid ID. The department specifically asks the state to identify how many members of that group have Spanish surnames, which counties they reside in and an estimated number by race. The DOJ also requests the Secretary of State provide the number of registered voters in Texas with a Spanish surname who currently possess a legal form of identification.
The DOJ did not oppose all aspects of the law, including provisions that would raise the penalty for illegal voting from a third-degree felony to a second-degree felony and increase the penalty for attempting to vote illegally from a Class A misdemeanor to a state jail felony.
The department says the U.S. attorney general will have 60 additional days to review the state’s revised proposal.

"vote early; vote often" used to be funny

While NAACP President Benjamin Jealous lashed out at new state laws requiring photo ID for voting, an NAACP executive sits in prison, sentenced for carrying out a massive voter fraud scheme.
Mississippi NAACP Voter Fraud Prison - Matthew Vadum @ The Daily Caller
The NAACP has had other problems with voter fraud. The NAACP National Voter Fund registered a dead man to vote in Lake County, Ohio, in 2004. That same year, out of 325 voter registration cards filed by the NAACP in Cleveland, 48 were flagged as fraudulent [15%].

But the NAACP’s voter fraud record doesn’t approach that of ACORN, the Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now. At least 54 individuals employed by or associated with ACORN have been convicted of voter fraud.

And ACORN, which filed for bankruptcy last November, was itself convicted of voter fraud in Nevada in April.

who needs voter ID?... that will just oppress the poor and minorities... because dead people have no money... and the voting-dead are very few, indeed.
